Tom Rush is a gifted musician that is celebrating over 50 years of performing on stage with distinctive acoustic sounds and a warm, expressive voice. He is making a return to the stage at the Bankhead Theater bringing favorite, familiar songs and new ones too. His music influenced much of the 60’s folk revival and continued to influence music well into the 80’s and 90’s. Starting in the 1960’s with a loyal audience at local pubs and coffee shops, he worked his way up quickly. Once he graduated Harvard, he had already released two albums. From the beginning, Rush always had a knack for finding amazing songs and writing his own. Portraying such rich history, you will not want to miss his performance!
The show is Friday, October 6 at 8:00 pm. Tickets start at $25 for adults, and $17 available for students and active military personnel.
