The 19th Annual Eugene O’Neill Festival in Danville

The Eugene O’Neill Foundation, Tao House, and the O’Neill Ancestral Trust of Ireland are partnering to produce “One Festival, Two Countries,” the Eugene O’Neill Festival in Danville in September and the Eugene O’Neill International Festival of Theatre in New Ross, Ireland, in October. One Festival, Two Countries embodies a civic as well as a cultural partnership. Native American Day at the Bankhead Theater

Livermore Valley Performing Arts Center will host its third annual Native American Day on the plaza outside the theater.  The family friendly event for all ages, offered in association with Livermore’s American Indian Center, will include demonstrations of tipi building, dancing and singing, as well as artifacts, crafts and food. Dublin Heritage Park and Museums' annual Harvest Fair is an afternoon of old-fashioned fall fun with lively bluegrass music and farm activities. Visitors can take a tractor-drawn wagon ride, play in the hay, and help harvest vegetables in the farm yard. Children can try churning butter, peeling apples, scrubbing laundry with a washboard and panning for gold. Farm vendors sell arts and crafts and favorite fall foods.
