Austin Huntington at the Bankhead Theater

Austin Huntington, principal cellist of the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra, is the grand-prize winner of the 2012 Irving M. Come celebrate spring and Holi with your friends and family The Festival of Colors or Holi is being held at the Alameda County Fairgrounds fby the Sankara Eye Foundation, a 501(c) (3) non-profit dedicated to eradicating curable blindness. The event consists of sharing the joy of Holi by sprinkling color powder on friends, family and anyone participating. There will be a DJ, a dance area, a kids game area and food available (to purchase).

Kaki King at Firehouse Arts Center

The biggest star in Portugal’s contemporary music scene, period. He has carved out his own musical path between Fado and traditional music of the Alentejo, with Brazilian influences thrown in.
