The three new turf fields at the Stanford Medicine Sports Complex will be the only lighted, synthetic turf fields in Pleasanton making them available year-round when other grass seeded fields may be unusable due to weather. The turf fields are also environmentally responsible because they require no watering. The fields will be lined for football, lacrosse, rugby, soccer, and baseball providing access to thousands of youth and participants!
One field will include covered, concrete stadium style seating, and the rest of the Complex will include field seating, parking, an equipment storage building, restrooms, picnic areas, playground area, lighted pathways and infrastructure that will be able to accommodate a concession building in the future.
