The Concerts at Wente Vineyards offer a delightful evening under the stars at Wente’s natural outdoor amphitheater, pairing the winery’s offerings with fine cuisine as the perfect accompaniment to world-class performances. They’ve just announced their much-anticipated 2016 summer lineup, celebrating 30 years of entertainment in the vineyards.
Chicago kicks it all off with a concert on June 28, followed by the legendary Ms. Diana Ross on July 7. July 19th it’s Phillip Phillips and Matt Nathanson; then Boz Scaggs and the Robert Cray Band wind up the month with a blues-rock evening on July 28.
August begins with the lush pop of Michael Bolton and Christopher Cross on August 3; then on August 10, the Bay Area’s own Huey Lewis and the News prove that the heart of rock ‘n’ roll is still beatin’. Then it’s Sweet Home Alabama in the vineyards as Southern rockers Lynyrd Skynyrd take the stage August 16.
Rock singer/songwriters Gavin DeGraw and Andy Grammer share their tunes on September 12. The next night, Chris Isaak and his band play their wicked game with songs you’ll still be singing for the rest of the week. Then, as fall descends on the valley, Jackson Browne wraps up the season with a solo acoustic concert on September 29.
