Across the Tri-Valley, local cafés, restaurants, and bars are rolling out their best fall flavors—from pumpkin-flavored soft serve and apple cider donuts to pistachio lattes and oatmeal stouts. Read on to see what’s on the menu this season.

Cafés, Bakeries & Brunch

Pumpkin spice is just the beginning. Local restaurants and bakeries are showcasing fall ingredients with dishes featuring squash, pears, figs, warm spices, and plenty of creative autumn-inspired flavors.

Wingen Bakery & Restaurant

Wingen Bakery leans into fall with pear, apple, maple and fig pastries, pumpkin french toast, muffins, and lattes, plus their seasonal honeynut squash gnudi (ricotta cheese dumplings) topped with reduced shallot cream, black walnuts, and fried sage.

Rosetta Roasting

Rosetta Roasting is serving cozy seasonal drinks like hot spiced apple cider, an eggnog latte, and the brand new maple spice cold foam. 

The Press An Artisan Cafe

This artisan café is bringing back their locally famous apple cider donuts along with a new fall menu that includes a must-try Pear + Chèvre Toastini, Harvest Pear Panini, Turkey Cran Salad Sammie, plus pumpkin caramel and ginger snap lattes available at both their Pleasanton and Livermore locations. 

Denica's Real Food Kitchen

Usually known for its Hawaiian twist on breakfast and brunch, like their Pink Guava Pancakes or Ube Stuffed French Toast, Denica’s Real Food Kitchen features several seasonal menu items. Across their Pleasanton, Livermore, and Dublin locations you’ll find pumpkin spice lattes and chais, toasted marshmallow mochas, and a full spread of pumpkin pancakes, muffins, and cookies.

East Bay Bakery

Expect to find chocolate pumpkin pie and a rotating selection of fall-inspired croissants and other pastries at this highly-rated bakery. Find their baked goods at their Danville storefront or at Downtown Danville’s Saturday morning farmers market. 

Monica's Livermore

Located in Downtown Livermore, this popular breakfast and brunch spot is serving up seasonal favorites like pumpkin waffles, pumpkin pancakes, and churro waffles topped with maple bourbon ice cream. See seasonal cocktail offerings.

La Palais Sucré

La Palais Sucré in Downtown Pleasanton is known for its sweet and savory crêpes, but fall is when the menu really shines. Cozy up with seasonal favorites like pumpkin pancakes, a pumpkin crêpe, pumpkin chai latte, or a classic pumpkin latte.

Danville Chocolates

Danville Chocolates is our go-to spot for hand-dipped caramel apples anytime of the year, but they’re especially delicious during the holiday season. Pick from a wide variety of caramel apples, truffles, chocolates and other weet treats.

Sideboard Neighborhood Kitchen

With a restaurant made to feel like a visit to your grandma’s house, comfort food is the specialty here. The Sideboard Hot Cocoa especially hits home in the colder months, complete with a graham-cracker crumble rim and a toasted house-made marshmallow.

Patisserie by Simone

A true hidden gem, this French-inspired pâtisserie features a rotating seasonal baked goods and desserts like pumpkin creme brulee, chocolate pecan tarts and other treats that are as delicious as they are photo-worthy. 

Crush'd Wine Bar Kitchen

Fall flavors get a luxe touch here with autumnal lunch, brunch & dinner items like the Pumpkin Mac & Cheese, Autumn Fritatta, Butternut Squash Tartine and Pumpkin Pie Creme Brulee. See their seasonal cocktail offerings.

Story Coffee

Story Coffee’s seasonal lineup features cozy fall drinks like the Salted Buena Vista with wildflower honey whip, their house-made Pistachio Latte, a classic Pumpkin Spice Latte, and the Harvest Chai topped with pumpkin cold foam.

From eggnogtinis to award-winning oatmeal stouts and festive mimosa flights, these seasonal cocktails and brews bring all the best flavors of fall and winter to the Tri-Valley.

Danville Brewing Company

From an Apple Cider Mule and cinnamon-rimmed Autumn Aperol Spritz to their award-winning Oatmeal Stout, Danville Brewing Company’s fall lineup is full of cozy flavors. Keep an eye out on any announcements, it’s possible their Huckleberry Pie Sour will make a comeback during the holidays. 

Crush'd Wine Bar Kitchen

This upscale wine bar & kitchen has an entire menu of seasonal cocktails including the Crush’d G&T made with seasonal fruits and herbs and the Apple + Eve, a mezcal cocktail made with apple and pomegranate. See their seasonal food offerings.

Simply Fondue

Celebrate the season with Simply Fondue’s rotating seasonal martini flights, including holiday flavors like Poinsettia, Gingerbread, White Chocolate Peppermint, Sparkling Blackberry, White Cosmo, and the always-popular Eggnogtini.

Sons of Liberty Alehouse

Sons of Liberty Alehouse is shaking up the season with cocktails like Cinnamon… Is The Winnamon (made with Story Coffee Co. Coffee, blanco tequila and espresso liqueur), Ginny From the Block, an Apple Cider Moscow Mule, and a Seasonal Old Fashioned (made with house cinnamon syrup and house apple bitters).

Monica's Livermore

Special fall cocktails at this popular Downtown Livermore breakfast and lunch spot include their Pumpkin Spice Espresso Martini, the Fall 75 (made with Hennessy, apple cider, and La Marca), and the Sweater Weather (a rye-based drink with maple syrup, amaro, plus walnut and orange bitters). A go-to spot for craft beer lovers (and a perfect stop on our Beer Trail), BottleTaps also serves seasonal mimosa flights with four rotating flavors available during weekend brunch.
