Visit a Museum

The Tri-Valley is home to an award-winning, multi-level museum as well as several institutions dedicated to preserving local history. 

Blackhawk Museum

The Blackhawk Museum, located in Danville, consists of five world-class galleries all housed under one roof. While its mostly known for its rotating car collection featuring rare and historically significant automobiles, it’s also home to the award-winning Spirit of the Old West gallery, the World of Nature gallery (pictured above), the Into China gallery, and the Art of Africa gallery. Museum on Main

Housed in the city’s former city hall and library, the Museum on Main is now a central hub for community events and the keeper of local historical artifacts. Inside you’ll find rotating exhibits along with thousands of photos and documents retaining the history of Pleasanton and the Amador-Livermore Valley. More Info

Museum of the San Ramon Valley

The Museum of San Ramon Valley collects, stories, and displays artifacts from in and around the San Ramon Valley. Built on a site that used to be an old train depot, the museum actually features a full-sized train car on its premises. In addition to featuring revolving exhibits throughout the year, it also hosts several guided tours including the Alamo Cemetery and Old Town Danville. More Info

Rubino Estates Winery

This Cal-Ital winery sits on the border between Pleasanton and Livermore and features an 8,000 square foot tasting room surrounding by 150 acres of beautiful vineyards.
