Not only is this the time of harvest, where the scent of crushed grapes can be picked up throughout the Tri-Valley, but it’s California Wine Month. This sensational season is riddled with wonderful wine-centric events, whether it be concerts in the orchards, intimate sit-downs with passionate wine-makers, or palatable pairings provided by our favorite local restaurants. Enjoy a night at McGrail Vineyards with Journey and Foreigner tribute band, Forejour. Bring your picnic chairs and blankets and watch the sunset while sipping on your favorite glass of McGrail Vineyards wine. Chomp down on gourmet wood-fired pizza by Soleil Wood Fired Pizza, available for purchase on-site.
Every year, the Tri-Valley joins in an annual harvest celebration complete with wine, food, live music, and special activities at participating wineries. This year, the 37th Annual Harvest Celebration will bring together over 30 Livermore Valley wineries over Labor Day Weekend.

Put on your festival wear and join us in downtown Danville for their first annual wine festival brought to you by First Fridays. Bring your lawn chairs or blankets and enjoy the sweet sounds of the artists, sip wine and hang out with friends and family, while browsing art & craft vendors. Tickets include a commemorative wine glass, 7 tasting tickets to enjoy samples at your winery of choice & a bracelet with the ability to purchase additional tasting tickets at preferred wineries.
Exercise your creative muscles at Nottingham Cellars’ Paint & Sip Night. Paint your very own scenic fall masterpiece while sipping on your favorite varietal. Wine by the glass are available by purchase and bottles will be offered at a discounted rate. Never picked up a paint brush? No worries, no experience is necessary. Artist Janet Facchini will not only provide all of the materials but will also lead the class with step-by-step instructions.
Admission and parking are free to this colorful event celebrating water, wine, art, and music. The Main Stage will feature a diverse line-up of live music and dance ensembles throughout the afternoon, followed by an evening concert and community dance party under the stars. Sample fine wines from the Tri-Valley or cold beer from local small batch brewers. Pair your beverages with delicacies from local food vendors and select food trucks from Food Truck Mafia.
Enjoy the tunes of East Bay Mudd, a powerhouse tribute to classic soul and R&B, in the beautiful olive orchards of Purple Orchid Resort & Spa. Nottingham Cellars wines, beers from several local craft breweries, and plates from local favorite, Posada, are all available for purchase.
Join Dante Robere Vineyards and Your Taco Guy for a night of wine, tacos, and live music! Each month, these two local favorites pick delicious wines to pair with grilled tacos. Relax, sit back, and enjoy the selection of taco & wine pairings to the tunes of Dave Land.
Celebrate the winemaking community of Livermore Valley while giving back to underserved children in the East Bay. This dazzling banquet features wine tastings from local wineries, a silent auction of exclusive items, a delicious dinner, a live auction, followed by live music and dancing.
