Visit Range Life to taste locally-sourced fare

Working closely with local ranchers and farmers, Range Life in Livermore serves elevated California cuisine serving only fresh, seasonal ingredients. This local hot spot was named one of the Bay Area's top steak restaurants and top outdoor dining experiences by the SF Chronicle in 2021.

Happy hour is officially back at Sabio on Main, which means $1 Oysters and $2 off all drinks and Sabio Sangria Monday-Friday from 4pm-5pm. Stop in early before a 3 or 5 course dinner to take advantage of these great deals.

Visit the Press Cafe's newly renovated space

The Press Cafe has recently renovated their Pleasanton location, providing more space and additional seating while staying true to its chic and casual coffeehouse vibes. Visit their Livermore location or their newly renovated space for unique beverages, creative bites, and delicious paninis.

Da boccery: NOW OPEN!

Da Boccery has officially opened in their new Livermore location, featuring a full kitchen and bar, bocce ball, axe throwing, shuffle board, foot pool and more! Stay tuned for more information.

Hit the bullseye at limitless axes & ales

Channel your inner lumberjack at Limitless Axes & Ales. This local axe throwing venue features a large selection of craft beer and a bar menu of salads, pizzas, and appetizers. If you've never tried axe throwing before, now's your chance!

Livermore Valley Wineries

The Livermore Valley Wine Country is made up of more than 55 wineries sprinkled across the rolling hills of the Livermore Valley. Wineries are open at full capacity for indoor and outdoor tastings, events, and experiences. Be sure and bring your mask.

Life is a Cabernet will be an interactive evening of Bingo & The Bard, Award-Winning Wine, Scenes and Songs outdoors on the grounds of Darcie Kent Vineyards. The Audience Seating area will allow for social distancing in compliance with Alameda County regulations.

What better way to end a workout than with a bit of wine? If you're looking to get active but love a good glass of vino, book a Hiking Through the Vineyards tour at Murietta's Well. Enjoy amazing views of the Livermore Valley while learning about their small lot approach to winegrowing. Available at 10am every third Saturday and Sunday of the month.

Breweries

Breweries and gastropubs are open at full capacity for indoor and outdoor service. Sign up for the Tri-Valley Beer Trail mobile passport for exclusive deals at 19 participating breweries. Visit 10 stops and win some premium beer swag, or visit every stop on the Trail to win a 64 oz. growler!

Tap your own flight or pint at hops & sessions

Pour your own flight or pint at Hops & Sessions, Livermore's only self-pouring taproom. Don't miss out on their brew pub fare like their Sessions Burger made with gruyere, blue cheese, arugula, caramelized onion, tomato, and house aioli.

Pennyweight Craft Brewing has a unique indoor space and a spacious patio that's hosts live performances and fun, beer-centric events. Put in an order from their in-house "food truck", and don't miss out on their house made chips with beer cheese!

Play a round of cornhole or bocce at homegrown hops

Homegrown Hops Brewing is located in the heart of Livermore Valley Wine Country, and features a growing hopfield, bocce ball courts, picnic tables, cornhole, and a sprawling lawn to hang out on.

Events

Fall’s a happening place in the Tri-Valley, featuring live concerts, performances, and the Alameda County Fair! Come enjoy some of our best weather of the year and check out a few events happening this season:

Take a stroll down pleasanton's main street

Each weekend starting April 30th until September 6th, road closures in Downtown Pleasanton will make way for pedestrians and expanded outdoor dining. Weekends on Main start Fridays at 3pm until Sundays at 9pm, providing an especially charming stroll down Pleasanton's Main Street.

Outdoor Activities

The Tri-Valley boasts several regional outdoor recreation spaces, hundreds of miles of hiking trails, and is home to Mount Diablo State Park’s south entrance. Don’t miss out on these unique outdoor experiences in our region.

Head up to Mount Diablo State Park's Summit

Mount Diablo State Park has several scenic vista points, but the view from the summit observation deck features panoramic views of the entire Bay Area. On clear days, visitors can even spot the Golden Gate Bridge! The Mount Diablo Visitor Center has also re-opened and house several informative exhibits about the mountain range's formation, geological characteristics, and wildlife.

Look out for bald eagles at del valle regional park

Did you know that bald eagles sometimes nest at Del Valle Regional Park? East Bay Regional Park District biologists have spotted active bald eagles nests at the park this year and are hoping to welcome eaglets to the community this spring! As exciting as wildlife spottings are, please be sure to keep your distance for your safety and theirs. Parking is $6 per vehicle.

Lake Del Valle is a great place for water activities, including swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing and boating. Rent a paddle boat, kayak, or pontoon from the marina on the east side of the lake. Rentals are first come first serve, so arrive early to reserve a vessel. Parking is $6 per vehicle.

Art & Culture

Museums, art galleries, visitor centers, and theaters are open at full capacity with no social distancing requirements. Here are a few great ways to enjoy the Tri-Valley’s rich heritage and culture this fall.

Visit Blackhawk Museum's Newest exhibit

The Blackhawk Museum is a Smithsonian-affiliate with five unique galleries to explore: The Classic Car Collection, The Spirit of the Old West, Into China, Art of Africa, and its newest exhibit, World of Nature, featuring one of the largest, most diverse collections of exotic animals from around the world.

Watch a Show at the Bankhead Theater

The Bankhead theater is located in the heart of Downtown Livermore and features rotating art exhibits and live performances in a 500-seat theater. With more than 60 events across a wide variety of musical genres, plus dance, theater, comedy, films, family shows and more, there’s something for everyone!

Visit del valle regional park's new visitor center

The Del Valle Visitor Center is open weekends 10am – 2pm. The visitor center contains exhibits and information about the natural history of Del Valle and surrounding wilderness. Park visitors are encouraged to visit and talk with naturalists and student aides about the park and the lake and to take part in the exciting programs. Parking is $6 per vehicle.

The Tri-Valley is home to California’s largest premium outlet center, a modern shopping mall, and adorable downtowns with one-of-a-kind boutiques. Retail stores, grocery stores, and shopping malls are open at full capacity. Be sure and bring your mask.

Hotels

With 40 lodging options to choose from, Tri-Valley hotels are Clean + Safe Certified to ensure a safe and fun escape to the “Sunny Side of the Bay.  Tri-Valley accommodations are open with some modifications. Indoor and outdoor pools, hot tubs, steam rooms and saunas are open to visitors, as well as fitness centers at a limited capacity. Local campgrounds are also open for reservations.

No. There is no requirement to quarantine, however it has been recommended that anyone traveling from outside California self-quarantine for 14 days.

No. There is no requirement for travelers from either within the U.S. or from abroad to have been vaccinated before traveling to any destination in California.

There are no official requirements upon arrival in California, but the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention provides a detailed collection of safe travel practices that is worth reviewing.

All residents and visitors will continue to follow California state masking guidelines which requires masks be worn by all individuals ages 2 and up at indoor public spaces regardless of vaccination status. Everyone is strongly encouraged to wear a mask in outdoor crowded settings and in non-public indoor settings, like a private residence, when you are with people you do not live with.
